Owner, Janis Holmes grew up in her family’s restaurant outside
of Dallas, Texas. As a young girl, Janis would bake cakes and apple pies to serve in the restaurant. That’s where her love of baking started. It has been her dream to start her own bakery and coffee shop where she
could cater to her own desire
to create a more healthful

Our signature coffee, Villa Myriam, is single-source coffee sustainably grown
on a family farm in Columbia. It has an intense aroma and an exotic flavor.
It makes a very balanced cup with a strong character and a nice aftertaste,
with caramel sweetness, citrus floral and wine notes. This coffee has the
richness and flavor that makes Columbian coffee famous.
Villa Myriam coffee is Rainforest Alliance Certified. The Rainforest Alliance
works to conserve biodiversity and improve livelihoods by promoting and
evaluating the implementation of the most globally respected sustainability
standards in a variety of fields. This coffee is also UTZ Certified, which
promotes sustainable farming and better opportunities for farmers, their
families and our planet.
At Cobblescones Coffee & Pastry, there is almost always something hot out of the oven. Come in and visit us, and owner, Janis Holmes, will be quick to hand out samples! Almost everything is hand-made from scratch with high quality ingredients and local products when available.
